Security

Security and information protection at eDialysis.org.

eDialysis.org recognises that patient, centre and account information must be handled carefully. We use administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect the information and systems under our control.

1. Account and access security

  • Platform access is intended for authorised users with individual accounts and appropriate permissions.
  • Users must protect passwords, verification codes and devices, and must not share account credentials.
  • Access may be changed, suspended or removed where reasonably necessary to protect users, centres, systems or legal compliance.

2. Sensitive information

Patients should provide health information only through approved eDialysis.org account or treatment-request processes. Public contact forms must not be used for medical records or other sensitive health information.

3. Centres and connected services

eDialysis.org may connect patients with participating centres and use selected suppliers to host, operate, maintain, secure or support the platform. Information is shared only as needed for the relevant service, support, security or legal purpose and subject to appropriate arrangements.

4. Security concerns

If you believe there has been unauthorised access to an eDialysis.org account, system or information, contact [email protected] promptly with the available details. We will assess and manage reported incidents through our applicable internal processes and legal obligations.

5. Our security and quality approach

eDialysis.org is working towards alignment with recognised information-security and quality-management practices, including ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 9001. This statement does not mean that eDialysis.org is currently certified to either standard unless eDialysis.org expressly states otherwise and provides current certification details.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Use eDialysis.org only through authorised accounts and for lawful, approved purposes.
  • Keep account credentials, devices and downloaded information secure.
  • Do not disclose patient, centre or eDialysis.org confidential information through public or unapproved tools, including public generative AI tools, without required approval. Tell [email protected] promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or misuse.
