Patient User Terms & Conditions

User Terms for edialysis.org.

By creating an account, requesting treatment or using the patient platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. The role of eDialysis.org

eDialysis.org is a digital platform that helps patients and authorised caregivers connect with participating dialysis centres. eDialysis.org is not a healthcare provider, does not deliver dialysis treatment, does not make clinical decisions and does not guarantee a centre’s availability, treatment suitability or acceptance of a request.

2. Eligibility and authorised representatives

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to use the patient platform. If you use eDialysis.org for another person, you confirm that you are authorised to provide information and make enquiries on that person’s behalf.

3. Account and security

You must provide accurate and current information, protect your password and verification codes, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You must not allow another person to use your account unless eDialysis.org has expressly enabled an authorised caregiver or representative function.

4. Treatment requests

A treatment request is an enquiry to a dialysis centre, not a confirmed treatment appointment. A centre may request more information, accept or decline a request, propose a different time, or require clinical assessment and documentation. A booking is confirmed only when the relevant centre confirms it directly through eDialysis.org or another agreed channel.

5. Clinical responsibility and centre relationship

The dialysis centre is responsible for assessing eligibility, reviewing clinical information, deciding whether treatment can be provided, explaining its treatment requirements, and delivering any clinical care. Any treatment agreement, fees, cancellation policy, medical consent and clinical relationship are between you and the relevant dialysis centre.

6. Your information

You must provide information that is accurate and relevant to your request. You should provide health information only through the approved eDialysis.org account or treatment-request process, and only where it is reasonably required. You must not upload information about another person unless you are authorised to do so.

7. Privacy and health information

The Privacy Notice explains how eDialysis.org handles personal data. By submitting a treatment request, you authorise eDialysis to share the relevant information with the centre you select or request, so that the centre can assess and respond to your enquiry. Where required, eDialysis.org will obtain your express consent before processing sensitive health information.

8. Fees, cancellations and refunds

Unless eDialysis.org expressly states otherwise in writing, eDialysis.org does not charge patients for use of the search and request platform. Treatment fees, deposits, cancellations, refunds and other charges are determined by the relevant centre and must be confirmed directly with that centre.

9. Prohibited use

You must not submit false, unlawful, harmful or misleading information; misuse the platform; interfere with security; impersonate another person; or use the platform for commercial solicitation, fraud or any unlawful purpose.

10. Suspension or closure

eDialysis.org may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect patients, centres, the platform, other users, eDialysis.org or legal compliance. You may request account closure by contacting [email protected].

11. Availability and liability

We aim to operate the platform reliably, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every centre listing, request or communication will be available at all times. To the extent permitted by law, eDialysis.org is not responsible for clinical treatment, a centre’s acts or omissions, or arrangements made directly between a patient and centre. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by giving reasonable notice through the platform, email or the Website where appropriate. Questions may be sent to [email protected]. These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
